Macquarie ICT wiki Aboriginal Education

Website RESOURCE
Please take a look at the website A History of Aboriginal Sydney http://www.historyofaboriginalsydney.edu.au/.
It is the electronic resource that accompanies the amazing Guringai posters our school acquired this year. The website is a fantastic resource with videos of local areas, interviews with local Aboriginal people, timelines with photographs and lots of information. It is worth checking out!

Relevant Reading
You might also like to read ELIMATTA (a word that means our home in an Aboriginal language). It is produced by the Manly Warringah Aboriginal Support Group of which some of our Aboriginal Education Group are members. Issues can be downloaded from this link http://www.asgmwp.net/Elimatta.htm. There is quite alot of information regarding indigenous issues in our area plus it lists related upcoming events and is well worth a look if you get a chance!
